Join the Yorba Linda Teen Action Committee in bringing joy to those in need. La Palma Toys for Tots Through Dec. 10

Letters to Santa Nov. 26-Dec. 17

Children of Ladera Ranch can write a letter to Santa telling him what they wish for Christmas. Drop off your letter by placing it inside the mailbox that will be located in front of the Avendale Village Clubhouse at 1 Daisy St. starting Nov. 26 or bring it to the Miracle of Mercantile Way Event. Holidays at the Harbor Through Early Jan

Dana Point Harbor Partners is spreading seasonal cheer with the annual holiday light display that will illuminate the Harbor from November 17 – early January. Each night throughout the holiday season, the Harbor’s magnificent light display will illuminate the evening sky for guests of all ages to enjoy. Themed light exhibits throughout the Harbor will include Candy Cane Lane, a “Merry Kiss Me” arch, lighted trees, and much more.

Winter in the Grove Dec. 4

The popular “Snowtopia” attraction features 50 tons of snow to create nine snow slides. Unlimited snow rides are $5 per person. The holiday craft boutique returns, offering handmade items from local vendors. Other activities include entertainment from local performers and schools, inflatables, craft-making, holiday photo areas, and holiday treats. Irvine Holiday Tree Lighting Dec. 4

The event will include visits with Santa Claus, live holiday music, and a winter-themed train route. Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped gift suitable for infants or children up to age 12. Toy donations aid the Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee Holiday Toy Drive, which benefits the families of Irvine’s adopted 2/11 Marine Battalion. 4-6:30pm / Civic Center .

Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade Dec. 15-19

The parade starts at Collins Island and will last approximately three and a half hours over 250 ships participate in the parade along with hundreds of waterfront estates. Providing the backdrop for the parade is the Ring of Lights waterfront home and business decorating competition. Santa and his elves will be arriving on his Jolly Trolley to hand out pre-packaged treats for children up to 12 years of age. Registration will begin April 3rd. All potential buyers will need to submit some documents, along with a CalHFA pre-approval letter from a lender as part of CalHFA's registration requirements.

Registration will close on April 29th. Shortly after, they will begin issuing vouchers in a lottery style to the winners. Each voucher lasts for 90 days so buyers who receive one will need to move quickly on their purchases.
